Spicer Meadows Reservoir is located in the central Sierras off of hwy 4 around 7500 feet up. The area is an amazing mix of glacially carved granite and volcanic monoliths towering well over 11,000 feet. We have made summer boat in trips here for many years.
Thelma/Randy, Sue/Doug Patrick Austin Debra and I hit Spicer this fine July. Plenty of water in the lake this year. We were able to ferry everything to our boat-in paradise halfway up the lake in two trips with our 16 ft tin can with the boat loaded to the gunnels and doggin it alll the way.
We camped on the south side near the no motor border about a 2 mile ride from the ramp. We have this spot dialed. It is set in the granite with space for 4-6 large tents dispersed amongst the boulders with an excellent communal cooking area and huge firepit. Some years it is an island.
All pitched in for the various meals and we did not suffer. Sunsets did not disappoint

Very nice! You have that organized well. How many boat loads of gear? haha!
